Our first trilingual adventure Erasmus Plus 2020

„Work, study and travel“ Boadilla-Großhandorf

Project: „Yesterday, today and tomorrow: towards a future in common“

Emil-von-Behring Gymnasium-IES Ventura Rodríguez

In varietate concordia/ United in diversity

A stupendous journey. The second to the ninth of February in Spain were spent doing wonderful projects that brought all students together in a bonding manner. The Erasmus Plus program allowed students to not only visit and learn about sites in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, Toledo and Segovia, but to experience the culture and way of life inside their families. We were all given a chance to put our communication to test and see how living in another way would feel like. It was incredible to see the breathtaking historical monuments in Madrid, Toledo and Segovia. To feel the warmth and hospitality of the Spaniards was a pleasure, as well as tasting the delicious food and sensing the generosity that awaited us. Two different cultures came together to create a beautiful journey. Many students didn’t even have enough words to share the admiration and excitement, which overflew them after this magnificent trip. Some even shed tears from sadness of saying goodbye. But this isn’t the end. The last week of March is yet to come and is yet to be filled with even more incredible moments in Hamburg. So, we are all looking forward to it with smiles and open arms.

Madrid - Ein aufregendes neues Abendteuer!
